nsf research experience for undergraduates
We host visiting undergraduate researchers in our lab through the Center for Dynamics and Control of Materials REU program! This program includes engagement via research talks, informal lunches, and project mentoring.
chemical research at texas (create) Program
We host visiting Austin Community College students in our lab through the CREATE program. CREATE offers summer research internships for ACC students, as well as research seminars by UT faculty on ACC campuses.
nsf research experience for teachers
We host Austin-area K-12 teachers in our lab through the Center for Dynamics and Control of Materials RET program! After RET teachers spend time working with our students in the lab, they take what they have learned and adapt it to create curriculum for their classroom. In addition to serving as mentors for teachers, our students have also helped them implement their curriculum in their classroom after the conclusion of the program.
